It was a relatively tame week for college football fans, with no upsets in the top 12 and only six in the Top 25 — three of which came in ranked matchups.

Ohio State has been the clear No. 1 since Week 1 and remains there going into Week 10 after a bye. Indiana halted a surging UCLA team that had been rolling since its coaching change, routing the Bruins 56-6.

No. 3 Texas A&M erupted in the second half, overcoming an 18-14 halftime deficit to LSU and outscoring the Tigers 35-7 after the break. South Carolina had No. 4 Alabama on the ropes, but a late fumble recovery gave the Crimson Tide a chance to score for a 29-22 victory. Alabama scored 15 points in 2:16 to escape Columbia with the win.

Georgia remains at No. 5 after an idle Week 9.

No. 6 Oregon took care of business against Wisconsin, winning 21-7, and stays just outside the top five. Ole Miss picked up a top-15 win over Oklahoma, 34-26 on the road, to move up to No. 7 in this week’s AP Poll. Georgia Tech beat Syracuse 41-16 to start 8-0 for the first time since 1966 and remains in the Top 10 at No. 8.

Vanderbilt earned a big conference win over Missouri to climb to No. 9. The Commodores’ 7-1 start is their best since 1941. Miami thumped Stanford 42-7 and sits at No. 10. Tied with Miami at No. 10 is BYU, which hasn't been ranked in the Top 10 since 1985.

Movers of the Week

Biggest jumps: Memphis, USC and Utah all reenter the Top 25 after brief stints outside the poll.

Biggest drops: South Florida fell out of the rankings after a 34-31 loss to Memphis, its second defeat of the season. LSU dropped out following its third loss, while Illinois was stunned by unranked Washington 42-25. Arizona State was upset by Houston and also dropped out of the Top 25.
Ever since ESPN's "College GameDay" preview show premiered for Notre Dame-Florida State in 1993, the pre-game show has traveled around the country at the top games each week. Find the complete rundown of every location below, most appearances and most times hosting, plus the eventual score for each game.

Along with featuring traditional powers such as Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and more, the show has also visited FCS schools and even DIII. The preview show includes Rece Davis, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit, among others, with Corso making his pick known by donning the headgear (or other related school item) of the winning team.

One DIII school has hosted: Williams for its 2007 game against Amherst.
Though not held in consecutive weeks, Ohio State is the only school to play in three College GameDays in a row in the same season. In 1996, GameDay was at Ohio State's games against Notre Dame (29-16 win), Penn State (38-7 win) and Iowa (38-26 win).
Arizona, Arizona State, BYU and Oregon State have the worst records in College GameDay games, each going 0-3.
Army has the most GameDay appearances for a school outside the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC (and not including Notre Dame). The Black Knights are 5-7, last hosting in 2020.
